Every account on Unripped passes an ID check before its first trade. Every trade keeps its chat, tracking and history in one place. And people who break the rules don’t get to start over.
Before the first trade
Verified, not anonymous.
ID check for everyone
A photo of a government ID and a live selfie, checked by Stripe Identity. Takes about two minutes. The photos stay with Stripe; Unripped only gets the result.
Sellers give their details
Vendors and Dealers give their legal name and address. The name has to match the ID. We never ask for a Social Security number or tax ID.
Dealers reviewed by hand
Dealer accounts add their business details and are approved by the Unripped team, then get a Business verified badge.
During the trade
Everything stays on the record.
- Trade chat is attached to the trade. Phone numbers, emails, social handles and links are hidden automatically, so deals stay on Unripped.
- Live tracking for every shipment, with notifications when it’s out for delivery and delivered.
- The buyer confirms delivery after checking the product is sealed and as described.
- Ratings and tiers. Shipping, packaging and communication ratings build a seller’s tier over time.
When something goes wrong
Report it, and we step in.
Report a problem
From any trade after payment. The Unripped team reviews the chat, tracking and history, and both sides see the decision.
Report and block
Report a profile, a rating or a chat message. Block anyone, and you won’t see each other’s orders or be matched.
Warnings and suspensions
Breaking the rules leads to a warning, then a suspension for a set number of days, and listings come down while it lasts.
No starting over
Permanently closed accounts can’t come back with the same email or the same ID. New accounts that match are held for review.
Straight talk about payments
Unripped doesn’t hold your money.
Buyers pay sellers directly with the seller’s own payment methods, so sellers get paid right away. That also means there’s no escrow or purchase protection from Unripped.
- Choose payment methods you trust and pay only the details shown in the trade.
- Bank wires use a secure card on the trade that locks once the buyer opens it.
- Keep everything on Unripped so there’s a record if you need to report a problem.
