Delete your account
Unripped · Last updated October 31, 2026
You can delete your Unripped account at any time, from the app or the website. Deleting is permanent and can’t be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open Unripped on your phone, or sign in at unripped.net.
- Go to Account, then Delete account.
- Enter the code we email you. This confirms it’s really you.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you’re signed out.
Can’t get into the app?
Email support@unripped.net from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.
Before you delete
- Finish your open trades. An account with a trade in progress (payment sent, paid, shipped or with a reported problem) can’t be deleted until that trade is finished. Trades nobody has paid for yet are cancelled automatically.
- Final bill. Any unpaid bills and transaction fees not yet billed are charged to your payment method on file first.
- Your plan ends. Your subscription is cancelled and your saved card or bank is removed from Stripe. There’s no refund for the rest of the current billing period.
What we delete
- Your sign-in (email address and password)
- Your profile: display name, profile picture, payment handles and shipping address
- Seller verification details: legal name, mailing address and business details
- Your ID check results. We also ask Stripe to erase the ID photos, selfie and details it collected.
- Your watchlist, follows, and the reviews you gave. Your open bids and listings are cancelled.
- Your trade chat messages are replaced with “Message deleted”
- Push notification tokens and notifications
- Your saved payment methods and customer record at Stripe
What we keep, and for how long
- Completed trade, fee and billing records are kept with your name removed, because we’re required to keep them for accounting and taxes. We keep them for up to 7 years.
- Past invoices at Stripe are kept by Stripe for the same reason.
- Safety records, such as reports and warnings on the account, are kept with the closed account to prevent fraud and abuse, for example someone opening a new account after being removed. If Unripped closed the account for breaking the rules, a one-way fingerprint of its email and ID details is kept so the same person can’t sign up again.
