These terms are an agreement between you and Unripped (“Unripped”, “we”) for using the Unripped app and website. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who can use Unripped
You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and pass our ID check before your first trade. Vendor and Dealer accounts must also provide an accurate legal name and mailing address and, for Dealers, business details. One person or business per account.
2. What Unripped is (and isn’t)
Unripped is a marketplace where buyers and sellers post and fill bids and listings for factory-sealed trading card products. Trades are between the buyer and the seller. Unripped is not a party to your trades, does not hold or process trade payments, and does not offer escrow, purchase protection or guarantees about any product or user.
3. Plans, billing and fees
- Plans are billed monthly on the 1st, with your first month pro-rated. Starter may include a free trial for new subscribers.
- Vendor and Dealer plans start, and are billed, once your account is approved.
- A transaction fee applies when a bid or listing you posted is filled: 2% on Vendor and 1.75% on Dealer, of the trade total. Filling someone else’s bid or listing has no fee. Fees are counted when the seller confirms payment and are added to your next bill. If Unripped closes a trade after a reported problem, its fee is waived.
- If a bill stays unpaid, new orders are paused until it’s paid. You can cancel your plan any time from the app’s billing page; it ends at the close of the billing period.
- We may change prices or fees with notice in the app before the change takes effect.
4. Your responsibilities
- Sellers list only genuine, factory-sealed product they have in hand, describe it accurately, confirm payment honestly, and ship with tracking within one business day of confirming payment.
- Buyers pay the agreed amount promptly using the seller’s listed payment methods, and confirm delivery or report a problem when the product arrives.
- Everyone keeps trade communication and completion on Unripped, and keeps account details accurate.
5. Not allowed
- Resealed, tampered, counterfeit or misdescribed product.
- Moving a matched trade off the platform to avoid fees, or cancelling trades to do so.
- Fake bids or listings, trading with yourself, or manipulating prices.
- Harassment, threats, or sharing someone else’s personal information.
- Objectionable content anywhere on Unripped, including display names, profile pictures, ratings and chat: hate speech, slurs, sexual or violent content, or bullying. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
- Using someone else’s identity or payment accounts.
6. Cancellations and problems
A trade can be cancelled only before payment is sent. After that, either side can report a problem in the trade. We may review the trade, its chat and its history, and decide to resume, complete or close it. Our decision about a trade’s status on Unripped is final, but it doesn’t limit any rights you have against the other party, and we don’t move money between users.
7. Reporting and blocking
You can report a profile, a rating or a chat message from the app. We review reports, usually within 24 hours, and may remove the content and pause or close the account responsible. You can block any user from their profile: you won’t see each other’s bids and listings or be matched in trades. Blocking isn’t available while a trade between you is in progress; finish it or report a problem on it first. Words we don’t allow are hidden automatically in chat and ratings.
8. Pausing and closing accounts
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or has frequent cancellations. You can delete your account any time in the app once no trades are in progress.
9. Disclaimers and limits
Unripped is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee the conduct of any user, the condition or value of any product, or that the service will always be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Unripped isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from trades between users, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Unripped after that means you accept the new terms.
